Font size too large and icons too small in HydroSym

Issue

The font size in HydroSym appears too large, while the icons are too small. These elements cannot be scaled through standard settings.

Cause

This issue may occur after updating HydroSym or changing your monitor or display settings — particularly on high-resolution (HiDPI) screens.

Solution

Adjust Windows compatibility settings for HydroSym:

1. Right-click the HydroSym icon on your desktop and select Properties.
2. In the Properties window, go to the Compatibility tab.

3. Click Change high DPI settings.

   Under High DPI scaling override, check the box labeled:

   • “Override high DPI scaling behavior”

     In the dropdown menu below, select:

   • System (Enhanced)
4. Click OK, then OK again to close the Properties window.
5. Restart HydroSym if it was open.

This should restore proper font and icon scaling within the application.
