Recover unsaved changes in HydroSym

Issue

You closed HydroSym or experienced a crash and forgot to save your changes.

Solution

HydroSym automatically saves temporary versions of unsaved files in a dedicated Rescue folder.

To recover your work:

1. Open Windows Explorer.
2. In the address bar, enter the following path and press Enter:

%appdata%\PARO\Hydrosym\Rescue

3. Look for the most recent file based on the timestamp or file name.
4. Copy the file to another location (e.g., your desktop).
5. Open the copied file in HydroSym to verify its contents.

Once confirmed, you can continue working from the rescued file.

Tip

It's a good idea to save the recovered file under a new name and location to prevent overwriting any existing versions.
