Creating cross-sections

HydroMan's intuitive interface makes it easy to create cross-sections. This is a powerful feature for navigating and designing complex manifolds. Cross-sections let you view and build connections within the block.

How to create a cross-section

You can create a cross-section along the X, Y, or Z axis — depending on which face you're working with.

To open a cross-section:

• Press the corresponding key: X, Y, or Z

  – or –

• Press C to toggle through available cross-sections

Pressing C once opens the first available cross-section. Press again to switch views.

Important: Select one hole

Cross-sections can only be created when one hole is selected.

Once selected, the hole will be highlighted in both the 2D and 3D viewers, so you can instantly track its position and behavior within the manifold block.
